Abstracts - Preparation & Submission
This page gives information about abstract preparation and submission, as well as preparation of your presentation. You are invited to submit abstracts for either an ORAL or a POSTER presentation.
Abstracts only will be published in the Program and Abstract Handbook. Full papers will not be published from the Coast to Coast conference.

Poster Preparation
Maximum Poster size is portrait A0 size (841 mm wide x 1189 mm high/deep). Could you please prepare your poster to those dimensions. No other shape is available. If you need more than one poster space, please advise. The boards will require velcro with which to attach your poster - while some will be provided, please ensure you have the necessary equipment with which to hang your poster.
Posters are to be hung at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Monday 20th Septemberfrom 1400 - 1600 hours, prior to the Welcome Function. If you are unable to be there to hang your poster at that time, please email and make an alternative arrangement to hang your poster on the morning of the conference from 0800 onwards.
All posters must be hung by the end of the morning tea break on Tuesday 21st in readiness for the first Luncheon Poster Session at 1pm. Posters will be judged by delegates - a "People's Choice", with the prizes presented at the Gala Conference Banquet on Thursday evening. The presenter/author is to be by the poster between 1300 and 1400pm, during the Luncheon Poster Sessions, on Tuesday and Thursday, to answer any questions.
Oral Presentation
Oral presentation (20 minutes including question time. Times must be adhered to to maintain the integrity of the conference timetable). Conference theatres contain data and video projection, and all presentations are to be via Powerpoint. Overhead projectors and 35mm projectors will not be available. Any special audio-visual requests should be directed to conference organisers.
Your powerpoint presentation must be uploaded at Speaker Prep at the Conference Centre the day before your talk.

Online upload will not be activated. Please burn your presentation to a CD and post to: 358 Bular Road, Kilkivan to arrive before 14th September.If your presentation is less than 10mb, please email to: ppt@coast2coast.org.au.
Alternatively, you can bring it for upload on Monday 20th September to the Adelaide Convention Centre between 1400 and 1600.
Please ensure your talk has been successfully uploaded onto Conference computers at least the day before your presentation.
Abstract Preparation and Submission
Abstracts are required for all presentations: oral, symposium and poster. The maximum word count is to be 350 (including authors & title etc.)
The closing date for abstracts is 5th July. Note that the Abstract Submission system will close on that date.

Please download the template and type your abstract into it, using the information and styles on the template. Abstracts not prepared in accordance with this template may be returned for rewriting. If you have any questions regarding its use, please email and we will be pleased to assist.
Abstract Submission
All abstracts are to be submitted to this site via the Abstract Submission link on this menu. Note that the earlier you submit your abstract, the sooner you will receive confirmation of its acceptance status. Our goal is to assess submitted abstracts within a few days, and authors will be advised within one week of their acceptance or otherwise. However, if you need to know your programmed presentation time prior to its publication because of travel arrangements or conflicts, please email and you will be advised quickly.
If your preferred oral presentation is to be changed
to a poster presentation because of time restraints in the program, you will
be advised by email after submission and review of your abstract.
The most up-to-date Conference Program will be posted to this web site as available. As the conference draws closer, please check the program for your presentation time.
